The Bird Says "Biker owned.  Nothing better than that!"

www.vcomonline.org

VCOM is on the job 52 weeks each year, representing our interests to lawmakers and local government. The political action committee founded by Tom McGrath in 1992, VCOM is the only state-based alliance of bikers in Virginia dedicated to defending and promoting all the issues that concern you as a motorcyclist on and off the road – personal liberty, safety, freedom of expression, political recognition, and respect. This mission is a full time job.

As registered lobbyists, Tom and Director Jim Cannon are most visible as our representatives during the General Assembly session every winter. But the fact is, much of the real work defending our right to ride and representing our interests goes on behind the scenes throughout the year on a one to one basis, motorcyclist to legislator. Also, Tom and Jim both serve on a number of state and local government committees whose work impacts motorcycling in the areas of safety, law enforcement, and tourism.

VCOM is our organization, and Tom and Jim are working to make certain our issues and our voting power are recognized. We support motorcycling in Virginia and defend our right to ride by supporting VCOM’s work and urging other bikers to join up.
